Throttle Body

  1. Invert throttle body on clean, flat surface. Pintle position in the IAC assembly must be checked prior to installation in throttle body. Measuring from gasket mounting surface of IAC assembly to point of pintle.
  2. Distance must not exceed 1 1/8" (28 mm). If not to specification, push pintle inward. Slight side-to-side motion may be helpful. Install IAC assembly with new gasket.
  3. Install TPS on rear throttle body with throttle valves in the normal closed idle position.
