Power Windows: Description
Window regulators are powered by a reversible electric motor located in each door. The motor is secured to the regulator on windows and connected by a drive cable on power vents. Each motor contains a circuit breaker and gear drive. Individual switches are used for all passenger windows.
The system uses a pair of single switches mounted on the console and no door switches. The motor cases are grounded.
A junction block located on left shroud connects body power accessories to chassis wiring. The power window wiring harness plugs into the accessory block. A 30 ampere circuit breaker mounted on fuse panel protects the motor wiring for the all power window systems.
