"G" & "P" Models

Loosen clamp on steering shaft. Apply 50 lbs. (23 kg) force to steering wheel end of shaft and adjust clamp to obtain clearance of 0.46 - 0.54" (11.7-13.7 mm) for "G" models and 1.24 - 1.28" (31.5-32.5 mm) for "P" models. See Fig 1and Figure. Tighten clamp bolts to specifications.
