| Condition | A customer may comment of a "Service Drivers Assist" message, upon inspection DTC U3000 SYM49 setting Current or History may be found in the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module (DMSM) with no other camera or coax DTC's setting and the DTC will not clear.
NOTE:
If you experience a Service Drivers Assist" message that does not have the DTC above, refer to normal SI diagnosis. |
| Cause | Possible B292 Drivers Monitoring Camera fault. |
CORRECTION
If you experience the concern with the DTC listed above, please perform the following procedure:
1) Flash the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module with the latest software
2) Remove the 10A F29 DA fuse from the X51A Instrument Panel right hand fuse box that supplies power to the K180 Drivers Monitoring System Module (DMSM) for 10 Minutes.
3) Re-install Fuse and clear all DTC's.
4) Put the vehicle in Propulsion mode and make sure there is no longer U3000 SYM 49 setting as current.
5) Shut vehicle off for 2 Minutes and then put vehicle in Propulsion mode again and make sure the U3000 SYM 49 did not return.
6) repeat step 5 three more times.
7) If no messages or DTC return, verify Super cruise operation and release vehicle.
8) If the U3000 SYM 49 DTC return, Replace the B292 Drivers Monitoring Camera.
