Component Testing

  1. Ignition/Vehicle OFF
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector: B153RR Rear Seat Belt Buckle - Right.
  3. Test for infinite resistance between the test points: Signal terminal 1 and Low Reference terminal 2 with the seat belt buckled.
    • If less than infinite resistance 

      Replace the component: B153RR Rear Seat Belt Buckle - Right.

    • Go to next step: If infinite resistance 
  4. Test for less then 1 Ω between the test points: Signal terminal 1 and Low Reference terminal 2 with the seat belt unbuckled.
    • If 2 Ω or greater 

      Replace the component: B153RR Rear Seat Belt Buckle - Right.

    • Go to next step: If less then 1 Ω 
  5. All OK.
