Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the 3rd row seat. 3rd Row Seat Removal and Installation
  2. Disable the SIR system. SIR Disabling and Enabling

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  4. Pull upward from both sides of right side the rear side door sill garnish molding (1) to disengage retaining clips front to rear.
  5. {If equipped} Disconnect the electrical connector.

    NOTE:

    Place the right side rear seat (1) in the fold and tumble position.

    Liftgate Lock Striker Cover (1) - Remove

    Use a flat bladed plastic tool to disengage retaining clips on the rear end trim finish panel (1).

  10. Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) - Remove

    Rear Seat Belt Retractor Sleeve - Right Side (1) - Reposition

  12. Rear Seat Belt Anchor Plate Bolt - Right Side (2) - Remove

    Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap - Right Side (2) - Remove

  14. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt - Right Side (3) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  16. Body Lock Pillar Upper Trim Panel - Right Side (1) - Reposition

    Liftgate Weatherstrip - Right Side (1) - Reposition

  18. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Bolt - Right Side (1) - Remove

  21. Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

    Electrical Connector - Right Side (1) - Disconnect

  24. Wiring Harness Retainer - Right Side (2) - Remove

    Remove the right side lower 3rd row seat belt retractor bolt (1).

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  27. Rear Seat Belt Opening Bezel - Right Side (1) - Remove

    3rd Row Seat Belt Retractor Anchor Cover - Right Side (1) - Open

  29. Remove the right side upper 3rd row seat belt retractor bolt (2).

    Convenience Net Retainer - Right Side (1) - Remove

    Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap - Right Side (1) - Open

  32. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt - Right Side (2) - Remove
  33. Cargo Tie Down Loop - Right Side (3) - Remove

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  35. NOTE:

    Feed the rear seat belt opening bezel and 3rd row seat belt through the quarter lower rear trim panel.

    Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connectors (1).

  37. Remove the wiring harness retainers (2).

    Disconnect the electrical connectors.

  39. Accessory AC and DC Power Control Module Nut (1) - Remove [3x]
  40. Accessory AC and DC Power Control Module (2) - Remove
