Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement - Engine Block

Preliminary Procedures

1. Partially drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE-47716)
2. Remove the intake manifold and throttle body as an assembly. Intake Manifold Replacement

Procedure

1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical wiring harness connector.
2. Apply thread locking compound to the threads of the engine coolant temperature sensor. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
