Removal Procedure
- Drain the cooling system. Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling (RWL) , or Drive Motor Battery Cooling System Draining and Filling (XFD)
- Disable the high voltage system. High Voltage Disabling
- NOTE:
Left side shown, right side similar.
Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Retainer- Right Side (1) - Release [10x]
- Front Compartment Side Sight Shield- Right Side (2) - Remove
Front Compartment Front Sight Shield Retainer (1) - Release [5x]
- Front Compartment Front Sight Shield (2) - Remove
Disconnect and reposition harness as necessary.
- Front Trim Finish Compartment Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]
- Front Trim Finish Compartment Support (2) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the module. (1)
Drive Motor Power Distribution Control Module Pyro Switch Nut (1) - Remove [3x]
- Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Cut-Off Actuator (2) - Remove
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Remove [2x]
- Reposition the high voltage harness.
Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Inlet Secondary Hose Clip Nut (1) - Remove
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Receptacle Coolant Inlet Secondary Hose Bracket (2) - Reposition
Wiring Harness Retainer (4) - Remove
- Electrical Connector (2) - Disconnect and reposition
- High Voltage Connector (3) - Disconnect and reposition
- High Voltage Battery Disconnect Control Module Bracket Stud (1) - Remove [4x]
High Voltage Battery Disconnect Control Module Bracket (1) - Remove
Retainer (2) - Release [2x]
- Heater Outlet Hose (1) @ High Voltage Battery Heater Module - Remove
- Drive Motor Power Distribution Control Module Hose (3) @ High Voltage Battery Heater Module - Remove
High Voltage Battery Heater Module (1) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connectors from the module. (1)
Drive Motor Battery Charger Module Relay Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Battery Charging Disconnect Module Relay (2) - Remove
Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Remove [3x]
- Disconnect the electrical connectors. (2)
Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)
- Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Remove
- Battery Positive and Negative Cable Bolt (3) - Remove
Engine Wiring Harness Ground Bolt (1) - Remove
- Engine Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Remove
- Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (3) - Position aside
Drive Motor Battery Charger Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Inlet Hose Bracket (2) - Position aside
Retainer (1) - Remove
- Heater Inlet and Outlet Pipe Clamp (2) - Remove [2x]
- Retainer (3) - Release
- Drive Motor Battery Charger Inlet Hose (4) @ Battery Charger - Remove
Rear Electric Drive Transmission Module Coolant Extension Secondary Hose Clip (1) - Remove
- Retainer (2) - Disengage
- Drive Motor Control Module Radiator Inlet Hose (3) @ Battery Charger - Remove
Engine Wiring Harness Ground Nut (1) - Remove [2x]
- Disconnect the wiring harness retainers. (2) [2x]
- Wiring Harness Terminal (3) - Remove [2x]
Disconnect the wiring harness retainers. (1) [3x]
- Engine Wiring Harness Ground Nut (2) - Remove
- Wiring Harness Terminal (3) - Remove
Engine Wiring Harness Battery Lead Nut (1) - Remove
- Disconnect the wiring harness retainers. (2) [4x]
- Wiring Harness Terminal (3) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connector. (1)
- NOTE:

Drive Motor Power Distribution Control Module Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
- Drive Motor Power Distribution Control Module Nut (2) - Remove [2x]
- Battery Charger (3) - Remove
