Preliminary Procedures

  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGX Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LGX GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) .
  2. Generator Replacement (LGX) , or Generator Replacement (LSY)
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
CAUTION:

Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .


Procedure 
Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor electrical wiring harness connector.
Tighten 
9 N.m (80 lb in)
