Installation Procedure

  1. Electronic Brake Control Module (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution

    CAUTION:

  2. Electronic Brake Control Module Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten in sequence [4x]
    1. First Pass: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
    2. Second Pass: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
    3. Final Pass: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)

  3. Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Assembly (1) - Install - Electronic Brake Control Module with Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement 
  4. Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LGX)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LSY)
  5. Program the EBCM. Control Module References
  6. Bleed the brake system. Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed 
  7. Center the steering angle sensor. Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
