Installation Procedure

Apply a light coat of wheel speed anti-corrosion grease to the front wheel speed sensor and mounting pad on the front steering knuckle. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Front Wheel Speed Sensor (1) - Install
Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness Retainer (4) - Install
- Connect the front disc brake pad wear sensor electrical connector (3).
- Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [3x]
- Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Front Wheel Speed Sensor Bolt (3) @Bracket - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Wheel Speed Sensor Wiring Harness Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- Connect the front wheel speed sensor and front disc brake pad wear sensor electrical connectors (1).
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Verify the repair is complete. Diagnostic Repair Verification
NOTE:
If vehicle was equipped with a retainer bracket, the updated wheel speed sensor retainer will utilize the retainer bracket bolt hole for installation.
