Installation Procedure

Running Board Control Module (2) - Install
- Assist Step Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
Engage the assist step rear bracket (1) to the assist step rod (2).
Assist Step Bolt (1) - Loosely install [4x]
Assist Step Rod Bolt (2) @Assist Step Rear Bracket (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the support from the assist step rod.
Assist Step Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Assist Step Bolt (1) - Tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the assist step support jack.
Assist Step Shield (1) - Install
- Assist Step Shield Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
