Loosen the lower exhaust front bracket to flywheel housing bolts (1) 1 / 4 turn each [2x].

NOTE:
If the stud plate assembly cannot be removed, further loosen the lower exhaust front bracket to flywheel housing bolts, remove the stud plate assembly, then hand tighten the bolts and reverse 1 / 4 turn.

Exhaust Front Bracket Bolt - Upper (1) - Loosen [4x] - Exhaust Front Bracket Replacement - Upper (L5P)

Loosen the catalytic converter clamp (1) approximately 3.5 turns or just enough to allow the exhaust front pipe flange to rotate.

Loosen the turbocharger to catalytic converter clamp (1) approximately 3.5 turns or just enough to allow the converter flange to rotate.

Adjust the alignment of the exhaust front pipe (1) to catalytic converter by rotating, raising or lowering the pipe until the holes of the lower flange align with the lower exhaust front bracket (2).
Use vise grips to clamp the lower exhaust front bracket to the exhaust front pipe flange.

Install the exhaust front pipe stud plate assembly (1) through the exhaust front bracket and exhaust front pipe flange holes.
