Removal Procedure

Prepare the electronic brake booster control module for removal. Control Module References
Without disconnecting the hoses, remove the radiator surge tank and position aside. Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (L8T)Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (L5P)
Thoroughly clean the area around the electronic brake control module (EBCM) and brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) of all dirt and debris.

NOTE:
Brake pipes not shown for graphic clarity. It is not necessary to remove the brake pipes from the BPMV.

Disconnect the electrical connector.(1)
