Installation Procedure

Inspect and clean the sealing surfaces of the EBCM and the BPMV with denatured alcohol and allow to dry.
Inspect the EBCM to BPMV Gasket for damage and replace, if necessary.

NOTE:
Brake pipes not shown for graphic clarity. It is not necessary to remove the brake pipes from the BPMV.

CAUTION:
Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .

Install and tighten the 4 NEW electronic brake control module bolts (2) in the sequence shown as follows:
1. First Pass: 1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
2. Second Pass: 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
3. Final Pass: 3.5 N.m (31 lb in)
Connect the electrical connector.(1)
