Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (1) - Remove

Body Wiring Harness Junction Block Bracket Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

Reposition and secure the body wiring harness junction block bracket and fuse block assembly (1), as necessary.

Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors (1) from the engine control module.
Disconnect the engine control module electrical connector wiring harness retainer at engine control module bracket and reposition.
Use a suitable tool to pry back the locking tab (2) and remove the engine control module from the bracket.

Disconnect the transmission control module electrical connector (1).
Disconnect the transmission control module electrical harness retainer and reposition away.

NOTE:
Note the location and routing of the wiring harness to ensure proper reinstallation.

Remove the electrical harness retainers from the engine control module bracket.
