Installation Procedure
- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the electrical connector.
Install the generator (1) with the lower generator mounting bolt (2).
- CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
Generator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Generator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- NOTE:
Intake manifold is shown transparent for graphic clarity.
Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @ Generator - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket (2) - Install
- Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2) @ Throttle Body (3) - Install
- Retainer Spring (1) - Install
Drive Belt Tensioner (2) - Install
- Drive Belt Tensioner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Using an appropriate tool, rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) counterclockwise and hold tension.
Accessory Drive Primary Belt (1) - Install
Intake Manifold Cover (1) @ Upper Intake Manifold Bracket (2) - Install
Intake Manifold Cover (1) - Install
- Install the oil fill cap.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716) .
