Preliminary Procedure Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Dual Battery) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Single Battery) . Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory .
1	Protective Boot
2	Generator Battery Control Wiring Harness Cable Fastener CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 12 N.m (106 lb in)
3	Generator Battery Control Wiring Harness Cable
4	Engine Wiring Harness Connector
5	Generator Mounting Fasteners Tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
