Installation Procedure

Position the mid intermediate steering shaft (1) on the vehicle.

Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft (1) @ Upper Intermediate Steering Shaft - Install

Mid Intermediate Steering Shaft Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 30 N.m (22 lb ft)

1. Prepare the bolt for installation as follows:
2. Remove all traces of the adhesive patch from the bolt and the mating threads using the appropriate tools.
3. Clean the threads of the bolt and mating threads with denatured alcohol or equivalent and allow to dry.
4. Apply thread locking adhesive to the bolt. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers 
5. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the bolt.
