Circuit/System Testing

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify the B292 Driver Monitoring System Camera coax cable is properly connected at all components, and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
    • If connection problems or cable damage is noted 

      Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues

    • Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is noted 
  3. Verify DTC B392D 39 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 

      Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring System Camera

    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  4. Verify DTC B392D 58 is not set.
    • If DTC is set 
    1. Clean the Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring System Camera.
    2. Verify the camera is mounted correctly.
      • If the camera is incorrectly mounted, remove and reinstall camera
      • Go to next step: If the camera is mounted correctly
    3. Replace the B292 Driver Monitoring System Camera.
    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  5. All OK.
