Installation Procedure

  1. When replacing the instrument panel compartment, transfer all necessary components.
  2. Connect the electrical connections.

    Install the instrument panel compartment (1) to the instrument carrier.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the bolts (1) securing the bottom of the instrument panel compartment to the instrument carrier.

    Return the instrument panel compartment door stops (1) to there original position.

    Connect the dampener (1) to the instrument panel compartment door.

    Install the bolts (1) securing the top of the instrument panel compartment to the instrument carrier.

  8. Install the instrument panel lower trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Install the instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
