Installation Procedure

Install the side door handle bracket locator (3) to the side door handle bracket (2).
Install the door lock cylinder (1) to the side door handle bracket (2).

Connect the side door lock cylinder rod (1) to the cylinder.

NOTE:
Ensure that the side door lock cylinder in engage all the way into the tabs of the bracket. Insert the key into the side door lock cylinder, turn left to right checking for binding before install the assembly to the vehicle.

Install the side door lock cylinder (2) to retaining tabs (1) in the side door bracket.
Install the front side door latch and side door outside handle bracket assembly as one. Refer to Front Side Door Latch Replacement .
Ensure that the door lock system operates properly before installing the trim.
