Transmission Control Replacement (N38)

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Range Selector Lever Cable Lever Replacement (N38) 
  2. Steering Column Replacement (N38) 
1 Automatic Transmission Control Bracket Bolt
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
12 - 14 N.m (106 - 124 lb in)
2 Automatic Transmission Control Bolt [3x]
NOTE:

The transmission control MUST be in the neutral position to access the top bolt.


Tighten 
1.2 - 2 N.m (11 - 18 lb in)
3 Automatic Transmission Control

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  2. Transfer components as necessary.
