Installation Procedure
- Connect the electrical connector and install the starter. (1)
- Install the starter mounting bolts. (2) - Tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)CAUTION:
Refer to Fastener Caution .
- Heated Oxygen Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Reposition
- Battery Positive Cable (2) - Install
- Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1) - Tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)
- Battery Positive Cable Retainer Fastener (3) - Tighten 6 N.m (53 lb in)
- Knock Sensor-Bank 2 (3) - Install - Knock Sensor Replacement - Bank 2 (LGX)
- Starter Heat Shield (2) - Install - Starter Shield Replacement (LGX)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) .
