Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
  2. Verify there are no brake fluid leaks.

    Refer to Brake Fluid Loss

  3. Apply and release brake pedal. Verify the brake stop lamps operate properly.
    • Go to next step: If the brake stop lamps operate properly 
  4. Verify that DTC C0131 is not set.
    • If the DTC is set 
    1. Perform the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Pressure Sensor Calibration .
    2. Verify the DTC does not set.
      • If the DTC sets, replace the Q5 Brake Pressure Modulator and K17 Electronic Brake Control Module.
      • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
    3. All OK.
    • Go to next step: If the DTC is not set 
  5. All OK.
