Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Battery Distribution Fuse Block Retaining Tab(1) - Disengage

  3. Open the battery fuse block cover.(2)

    Battery Positive Cable Nut(1) - Remove

  5. Battery Positive Cable Nut(2) - Remove[2X]
  6. Battery Positive Cable(4) - Remove[3X]
  7. Battery Positive Cable Retainer(3) - Disengage

    Battery Positive Cable Retainer(1) - Disengage[2X]

    Protective Cap(2) - Remove

  10. Generator Positive Cable Fastener(1) - Remove
  11. Battery Positive Cable(3) - Remove
  12. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Starter Heat Shield(2) - Remove - Starter Shield Replacement

    Starter Solenoid Cable Nut(1) - Remove

  15. Battery Positive Cable Conduit Fastener (3) - Remove
  16. Battery Positive Cable(2) - Remove
  17. Lower the vehicle.
