Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9)
- Remove the drive belt. Drive Belt Replacement (LF3)
Power Brake Booster Pump (1) - Remove - Power Brake Booster Pump Replacement
Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump (3) - Reposition away - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump Replacement (LF3)
Generator Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
- Harness Bracket (2) - Reposition away
- Raise and position the generator (3) to access the electrical connections.
Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect
- Protective Cap (1) - Remove
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
- Engine Wiring Harness Terminal (4) - Remove
- Generator (5) - Remove
