Installation Procedure

    NOTE:

    Perform steps 1 and 2 if the fuel injection fuel feed pipe dampener clip bracket was removed.

    Install the fuel injection fuel feed pipe dampener clip bracket (2).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the fuel injection fuel feed pipe dampener clip bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

    Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Dampener (1)@Fuel Feed Pipe (2) - Connect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Fuel Feed Hose (1)@Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Dampener (2) - Connect - Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

    Unclip and open the cover of the fuel feed hose clip bracket (1) and install the fuel injection fuel feed pipe dampener (2).

  6. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe - Install - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe Replacement (Without HP9) Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Pipe Replacement (HP9) 
  7. Intake Manifold Cover - Install - Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
  8. Pressurize the fuel system and inspect for leaks.
