Circuit/System Description
The hybrid/EV powertrain control module 2 monitors the DC voltage sensor inside the battery charger. The signal is pulse-width modulated and the duty cycle increases as the DC voltage increases. The duty cycle equals 10% when the DC voltage sensor reports less than 0 V. The duty cycle equals 90% when the DC voltage sensor reports more than 500 V. Therefore, during normal operation the duty cycle is between 10% and 90%.
