Removal Procedure

  1. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static)Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) - Drain the cooling system.
  2. Plenum Front Panel Replacement - Remove
  3. Engine Rear Noise Shield Replacement (LF4)  - Remove
  4. Disconnect the Fuel Feed Pipe - Fuel Tank to Engine from the Fuel Feed Pipe - at Engine and reposition. Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Fuel Tank To Engine LF4) Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (LF4 at Engine)

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  6. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Fastener (2) - Remove [2x]

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Retainer (1) - Remove

  8. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (2) - Remove

    Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Seal (1) - Remove and DISCARD
