Circuit/System Testing

  1. Verify the USB cable is properly connected and there is no damage to the cable or connections.
    • If connection problems or cable damage is noted. 

      Perform the appropriate repair or replacement to correct any issues.

    • Go to next step: If no connection problems or cable damage is noted. 
  2. Connect the EL-50334-50 to the front view camera connector and the performance data recorder connector X4.
  3. Ignition ON, performance data recorder system ON.
  4. Verify the front view camera operates properly while operating the performance data recorder system.
    • If front view camera does not operate properly 
    1. Replace the B174 Front view Camera.
    2. Verify the front view camera operates properly while operating the performance data recorder system.
      • If front view camera does not operate properly 

        Replace the K161 Performance Data Recorder.

      • Go to next step: If front view camera operates properly 

        Go to next step: All OK

    • Go to next step: If front view camera operates properly 
  5. Replace the USB harness.
