Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF3)

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Disconnect the air cleaner outlet rear duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Rear Duct Replacement (LF3) .
  2. Disconnect the air cleaner outlet front duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement (LF3) .
  3. Disconnect the turbocharger wastegate actuator vacuum tank solenoid valve tube at air cleaner. Refer to Turbocharger Wastegate Actuator Vacuum Tank Solenoid Valve Tube Replacement (LF3) .
1 Air Cleaner Assembly
NOTE:

If replacing, then replace air cleaner assembly and MAF sensors together.

Procedure

  1. Disconnect MAF sensor electrical connector and harness retainers.
  2. Remove the air cleaner housing from the retainers, while guiding the housing out of the inlet duct.
