Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel speed sensor harness to the body wiring harness conduit and secure the conduit with tape.
  2. Install the harness conduit to the vehicle.

  3. Install the wheel speed sensor harness clips (1) to the wheelhouse panel.
  4. Install the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector (2) to the harness bracket.
  5. Connect the wheel speed sensor harness electrical connector.

  6. Install the wheel speed sensor harness clips (1) to the rear underbody crossmember.

  7. Install the wheel speed sensor harness clips (1) to the upper suspension arm.

  8. Install the wheel speed sensor (1) to the rear suspension knuckle.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  10. Install the rear wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  11. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With J64) .
  12. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
