Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel speed sensor.

  2. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. Install the wheel speed sensor electrical connector clip (1) to the upper suspension arm.
  4. Install the wheel speed sensor harness clip (2) to the upper suspension arm.

  5. Install the wheel speed sensor harness (1) to the rear suspension knuckle.

  6. Install the wheel speed sensor to the wheel bearing and hub assembly.
  7. Install the wheel speed sensor harness pass through grommet to the rear brake backing plate.
    8. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  8. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  9. Install the parking brake shoes. Refer to Parking Brake Shoe Replacement .
  10. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (With J55) .
  11. Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
