The telematics communication interface LED status indicators are located on the keypad assembly. The green LED indicator is illuminated when the system is ON and operating normally. When the green LED indicator is flashing, it is an indication that a call is in progress. When the red LED indicator is illuminated, a system malfunction is present. The LED status indicators are controlled by the telematics communication interface control module via the keypad green signal circuit and the keypad red signal circuit.
