Sunroof Sunshade Motor Replacement

Preliminary Procedure Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) and Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Without Sunroof) .
1	Sunroof Sunshade Motor Bolt (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. With a turning motion, pull downward on the sunroof sunshade motor. Disengage the motor from the drive cables. Install the sunroof sunshade motor to the frame with a turning motion. Push upward. This will engage the motor into the drive cables. Tighten 4 N.m (35 lb in)
2	Sunroof Sunshade Motor Procedure Verify the sunroof sunshade motor operation. After installing the sunroof shade motor, refer to Sunroof Window Motor Initialization .

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
With a turning motion, pull downward on the sunroof sunshade motor. Disengage the motor from the drive cables.
Install the sunroof sunshade motor to the frame with a turning motion. Push upward. This will engage the motor into the drive cables.

Tighten
4 N.m (35 lb in)

Procedure

Verify the sunroof sunshade motor operation.
After installing the sunroof shade motor, refer to Sunroof Window Motor Initialization .
