Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery current sensor (1) into position on the battery negative cable (2).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the battery negative cable (1) to the ground stud and tighten the fastener (2) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  3. Install the body harness ground terminal (4) to the battery negative cable and tighten the fastener (3) to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
  4. Connect the body harness connector (6) to the battery current sensor (5).
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (with KL9) .
  6. Install the left rear compartment side trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Replacement - Left Side .
