Removal Procedure

  1. Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Tray (2)» Remove - Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Tray Replacement (With HP9)

  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  3. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Fastener (2)» Remove

  4. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retainer (1)» Disengage [2x]
  5. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (3)» Remove
  6. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Remove

  7. Retainer (3)» Disengage
  8. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Remove
  9. Retainer (1)» Disengage [4x]

  10. Rubber Grommet (3)» Disengage
  11. Retainer Clip (2)» Disengage
  12. Feed the battery positive cable (4) through rear compartment opening.
  13. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  14. Fuel Tank (1)» Remove - Fuel Tank Replacement

  16. Retainer (1)» Disengage [6x]

  17. Release the clips with a suitable tool. (1) [4x]

  18. Remove the auxiliary A/C evaporator tube bracket fastener. (3)
  19. Retainer (2)» Disengage [3x]
  20. Release the clips with a suitable tool. (1) [3x]

  22. Lower the vehicle.
