Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition ON.
    NOTE: Remove items from dash that may cover the Ambient Light Sensor
  2. Verify there are no DTCs set in the K172 Night Vision Control Module.
    • If any DTC is not set 
  3. Perform the Reset Manufacturer Enable Counter with a scan tool.
    • If the Request Rejected by the Control Module message does not appear 

      Verify the Night Vision System operates normally.

    • If the Request Rejected by the Control Module message appears 
  4. Program the K172 Night Vision Control Module. Refer to Control Module References
  5. Verify the Night Vision System operates normally.
    • If Night Vision System does not operate normally 

      Replace the K172 Night Vision Control Module

    • If Night Vision System operates normally 
  6. All OK.
