Diagnostic Aids

All DTCs and data from steering column position control module is communicated through the serial data and stored in the seat memory control module. The seat memory control module only reports the DTCs communicated from the steering column position control module. DTCs stored in the memory seat module for the steering column position control module DOES NOT  affect the operation of the seat or the seat memory. DO NOT  replace the seat memory control module when DTC B285A is stored because the steering column position control module has detected a fault within it's system.
