Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  1. If reusing the spark plugs, refer to Spark Plug Inspection .
  2. If using NEW spark plugs do NOT attempt to check gap or damage can occur, plugs come pre gapped.
  3. Install the spark plug(s) and tighten to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).
  4. Install the ignition coil(s). Refer to Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 1 (LF4) , and/or Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2 (LF4) .
