Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator Bolt

  1. Install Generator (4)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Generator Mounting Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  3. Install Generator Mounting Stud (3) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Install Generator Mounting Nut (2) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  5. Install Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2)
  6. Install Generator Nut (1) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  7. Engage Wiring Harness Retainer (1)
  8. Connect Electrical Connector (2)

  10. Install Drive Belt (1)Drive Belt Replacement
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
