Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Generator Bolt

  1. Install Generator (5)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Generator Mounting Bolt (1) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  3. Install Generator Mounting Stud (4) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Install Generator Mounting Nut (2) and tighten 58 N.m (43 lb ft)
  5. Engage Wiring Harness Retainer (3)

  6. Connect Electrical Connector (1)

  7. Install Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2)
  8. Install Generator Nut (1) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  10. Install Fan and Generator Belt (1)Fan and Generator Belt Replacement

  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
