Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Battery Positive Cable Nut

  1. Install Battery Positive Cable (2)
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Install Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  3. Install Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)

  4. Engage Retainer (1)
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  7. Engage Retainer (1)
  8. Secure the clips.(2)
  9. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tube bracket fastener. (3) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  10. Install Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)

  11. Engage Retainer (1)
  12. Lower the vehicle.

  13. Feed the battery positive cable through rear compartment opening.
  14. Install Rubber Grommet (2)
  15. Engage Retainer (1)

  16. Battery Positive Cable (2)
  17. Engage Retainer (3)
  18. Install Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)

  19. Install Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (2)
  20. Engage Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retaining Tab (1)
  21. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  22. Install Spare Tire (2)
  23. Hand tighten Spare Tire Stowage Retainer (1)
