Installation Procedure

  1. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Assembly (1)

    CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  2. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  3. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  4. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut (1) and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  5. Install Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)

  6. Install Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)

  8. Install Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten 19 N.m (14 lb ft)

  9. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)

  10. Install Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Fitting (1) and tighten 32 N.m (24 lb ft)
  11. Connect the EBCM electrical connector.
  12. Bleed the brake system. Antilock Brake System Automated Bleed 
  13. Install Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Engine Wiring Harness Fuse Block Bracket Replacement
  14. Program the EBCM. Electronic Brake Control Module Programming and Setup
  15. Center the steering angle sensor. Steering Angle Sensor Centering
