Preliminary Procedure
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief
- Remove the Intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
- Remove the fuel pipe shield. Refer to Fuel Pipe Shield Replacement .
- Disconnect the fuel feed pipe quick connect. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service

Fuel Feed Pipe Procedure
- Unclip electrical harness connectors from fuel feed pipe assembly.
- DISCARD the old fuel feed pipe, install a NEW fuel feed pipe.
- Ensure that the high pressure fuel pipe, and fuel pump fittings are clean and dry prior to assembly.
- Pressure up the fuel system and check for leaks.
