Circuit/System Verification

  1. Vehicle in Service Mode, verify no other hybrid/EV battery-related DTCs are set.
    • If no hybrid/EV battery-related DTCs are set 
  2. Verify that DTC P0D20, P0D21, P0D22, and P0D23 is not set.
    • If DTC P0D21 or P0D23 is set 

      Refer to Circuit/System Testing.

    • If DTC P0D22 is set 
      NOTE:

      Refer to preliminary information, PIP5077 before programming the K114B Hybrid Powertrain Control Module 2.

    1. Verify that the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 software is up to date.
      • If the software is up to date, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
      • If the software is not up to date
    2. Program the K114B Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2.
    3. Verify that DTC P0D22 does not reset.
      • If DTC P0D22 is set, refer to Circuit/System Testing.
      • If DTC P0D22 is not set
    4. All OK.
    • If DTC P0D21, P0D22, or P0D23 is not set 
  3. All OK.
