Installation Procedure

  1. Position the fork of the brake pedal position sensor over the brake pedal pin.
    2. Fig 1: Brake Pedal Position Sensor

  2. Align the brake pedal position sensor locating pin and install the brake pedal position sensor (1).

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Install the new brake pedal position sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 2 (18 lb in).
  4. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  5. Install the left side instrument panel insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side .
  6. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
