Installation Procedure

  1. Install the battery sensor (1) to the battery.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Tighten the battery negative clamp fastener (1) to 9 (80 lb in).
  3. Install the battery negative cable fastener (3) and tighten to 12 (106 lb in).
  4. Install the body harness negative terminal to the battery sensor and tighten the fastener (4) to 9 (80 lb in).
  5. Connect the battery sensor connector (2).
  6. Close the battery access panel in the left rear cargo area.
  7. Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
