Removal Procedure
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
- Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
- Disconnect the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the fuel rail. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Unclip the 3 feed pipes from the pipe retainers.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
- Lower the rear of the drivetrain and front suspension frame 51 mm (2 in). Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement .
- Unclip the fuel feed pipe from the line retainer on the cowl panel.
- Disconnect the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the fuel feed hose. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
- Remove the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the retainers (2).
- Remove the fuel feed front pipe (1) from the vehicle.
